Since opening the first Milk Bar in Manhattan in 2008, the spot has quickly become famous. House favorites include the Crack Pie and Cereal Milk.
Fast forward to today, and Milk Bar opened its 16th location in Cambridge Mass. Both locations and employees have grown quickly over the last few years. Just in the past year, employee count grew by 70 percent to over 380.
In addition to opening new locations, the eCommerce business continues to grow. We have heard estimates that the eCommerce side is now about a third of the business.
After spreading throughout New York, Milk Bar has also opened in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Boston, Las Vegas and Toronto. In an interview with the New York Times, Tosi revealed that expansion may be headed to areas like Miami and Chicago next.
