Today, McDonald’s, the nations largest purchaser of beef, announced it will begin efforts to reduce medically important antibiotics in its beef.
Starting in 2018, McDonald’s will collaborate with the top 10 producers of beef for pilot markets. McDonald’s will later roll out pilot to all other producers. More about the policy here
