For years, McDonald’s has tried to move into more expensive sandwiches and healthier options. For the last 6 years, the company has tried to to give customers more customization.
Most time when this has been tried, it has failed. Earlier this week, McDonald’s announced removal of these premium products. Sometimes these premium products come at the expense of speed. That speed is necessary for McDonald’s drive-thru.
Let’s see if the simplification will allow McDonald’s to pick back up sales trends.
